The WV Hitchers

We were born out of chance....

 

       We evolved from a few chance meetings at local open mic events. The original "Hitchers" was very guitar-centric with pedal steel and percussion layered on top. The new "WV Hitchers" is a more authentic Folk-Americana sound, Relying on the powerful songwriting and smooth vocals of Maria that melds with the strength of the lead guitar position, now occupied by Chuck on his pedal steel. Dan and Creed fill out the mix with Dan's subtle and steady percussion as well as Creed's tastefully rich bass lines.

       After an 11 month hiatus to work on individual projects and personal growth, The West Virginia Hitchers have renewed their efforts to be the finest Folk-Americana band they can be and look forward to seeing you at their upcoming shows this season.
